My friend Blake Armstrong took this during a recent trip in northern California. I pulled the air, but it had a weird rotation. On the walk down the beach this day, we found a seal with a very large bite taken out of it. ummm...no wonder it was uncrowded.

Northern Lights

At the beginning of January, I made a trip up north in search of long left-hand barrels. Three days later, I was surf satisfied and chilled to the bone. It was time to head back home to go hang with the family. here are some pics:
